Is there a website where I can see a list of Kung-fu Movies?
I want a List Of Movies, or better yet a website the movies there already. They can be from any country and any time and be in any language. I don’t care. I just like the fighting seens. They can be Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Tony Jaa and anyone for that matter. If you have a list of actors, could you post them please and thank you.

Bruce Lee Wall Decal, Vinyl Sticker Decal is made from high-quality, U.S.A. made, matte vinyl. Matte vinyl is used because it blends nicely with painted walls giving the decal a “painted on” look. While similar to stickers, vinyl decals are more durable than a traditional sticker. Also, stickers tend to leave that pesky sticker residue when removed. Kung Fu Cult Master $16.98 As a joint release from VideoAsia and First Look Studios, this box set caters to fans of martial arts maestro Jet Li, with a series of films featuring Jet. It begins with a program titled Legend of Kung Fu Hero, not a feature per se but actually amateur home movies of Jet Li as a boy doing martial arts workouts at the gym, shot in the mid-late 1970s. The set then includes two well-known Li features, Dr. Wai and the Scripture Without Words (1996) and Kung Fu Cult Master (1993) (the latter co-starring Sammo Hung). The fourth film in the program, comically titled Li-Thal Weapon, presents a montage of various Li martial arts stunts filmed over the years, with Li narrating. The fifth program in the package is 1996′s action saga Fists of Legend 2: Iron Bodyguards, which stars not Li but one of his onscreen imitators, Jet Le. The sixth film in the package is another documentary, Jet Li: The Kung Fu Years, which introduces the audience to a young Li and many of his onetime teammates from the Beijing Wushu Team. The package wraps up with two additional Li action opuses: the 1993 Last Hero in China and the 1994 Bodyguard from Beijing. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi |

Shaolin: Legends of Zen and Kung Fu [With DVD] $26.02 Shaolin: Legends of Zen and Kung Fu is an exciting discovery of kung fu for kids and grownups alike who enjoy Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies. Shaolin is a 1,500-year-old Zen Buddhist temple in China that is famous worldwide for its peaceful-looking monks who perform incredible kung fu stunts. How are these monks able to achieve such amazing feats? Why do Buddhist monks learn martial arts? And what do the Star Wars and The Matrix films have anything to do with Shaolin Kung Fu? The answers to these questions and more are revealed through age-old Shaolin stories and an original 3D-animated film on DVD, Enter the Zen. Enter the Zen is a story about a courageous boy who wanders far and wide in search of the ultimate kung fu. At last he finds it, but it is not what he thinks Shaolin carries a message of compassion for others ? the heart of the wisdom of Shaolin Kung Fu. |

Kung Fu Hustle (Fullscreen) $16.96 Stephen Chow’s follow-up to SHAOLIN SOCCER ups the over-the-top action quotient by about three zillion percent. The story is set in 1930s Hong Kong, with Chow as a shaggy-haired, would-be bad guy named Sing, who gets caught up in the middle of a war between the top-hat-wearing Axe gang and the hard scrabble inhabitants of Pig Sty Alley. Chow–who wrote, produced, and directed–doesn’t step in as the star here for quite a while, letting the comic duties fly in a myriad of directions: a landlady in curlers (Yuen Qiu) has a yell that can flatten buildings; people get kicked across courtyards and through walls; musician assassins whip ghost sabers from lyre strings, and a mental patient in pink flip-flops named the Beast (Leung Siu Lung) catches bullets in his fingers. Buoyed by SOCCER’s box office success, HUSTLE uses bigger production values and a dizzying amount of CGI-enhanced martial arts (imagine Bruce Lee vs. Bugs Bunny in THE MATRIX). It’s full of references to other films and filmmakers, revering spaghetti westerns and ’70s Shaw brothers movies a la Tarantino’s KILL BILL (fight choreographer Yuen Wo Ping worked on both films). It also pays sly homage to the works of Wong Kar Wai, D.W. Griffith, Sam Raimi, Jean-Luc Godard, Stanley Kubrick, and Akira Kurosawa. Raymond Wong’s inspired score matches each cinematic reference with the appropriate cue as the camera circles and swoops around the sprawling sets. This is a real treat, more than a great action film or comedy, it’s a great film period, and one that set box office records in the East. |

A Century of Movie Posters: From Silent to Art House $14 Film buffs, graphic designers, and art students will relish this beautifully produced and strikingly illustrated volume. Arranged in roughly chronological order, it brings together movie posters from around the world, starting with Charlie Chaplin film ads and the Russian Revolutionary movie posters of the 1910s, then spanning the century to show posters publicizing hits of the 1990s, including The Silence of the Lambs, Spike Lee films, and many more. The book’s sections focus on renowned individual designers, directors, movies, and genres. Important poster designers such as Saul Bass, Jan Lenica, and Juan Gatti receive particular attention, as do great directors who had strong opinions about how their films should be represented. Among the latter are Alfred Hitchcock, Jean-Luc Godard, and Otto Preminger. All major film genres are represented—musicals, Kung Fu movies, films noir, westerns (including so-called “spaghetti westerns” filmed in Italy), science fiction classics, and others. Readers are treated to examples of movie posters not only from the United States, Britain, and France, but also to previously unpublished examples from countries as diverse as Poland, China, and Cuba. For instance, fans of Orson Welles might be surprised to see the previously unpublished Italian poster advertising Citizen Kane under its Italian title, Quarto Potere (The Fourth Estate). This handsome volume will be valued by graphic designers, poster collectors, and anyone sharing the popular passion for cinema. |

Chasing Dragons $18.87 ‘The art of fighting without fighting’, is how Bruce Lee described his martial arts style in the film Enter the Dragon. This can equally well be said of the art of fighting for the movie camera. From post-Second World War Japan, to present day Hong Kong, the martial arts film has been one of cinema’s most enduring and popular genres. This lucid introduction to the martial arts film is a welcome companion to a remarkable cinema, written for interested filmgoers as well as established aficionados. Chasing Dragons explores how the genre has adapted to satisfy the shifting demands of an increasingly international and diverse audience. It covers the cinemas of Japan, Hong Kong and America, exploring over fifty key films, their texts, fighting techniques, stars and directors, set in the distinct cultures producing and forming them. It introduces readers to the Japanese masters of the samurai film – Kurosawa Akira, Kobayashi Masaki, Okamoto Kihachi, and the lethal swordsmen of the screen, from Zatoichi to Miyamoto Musashi. Here are the superstars of Hong Kong – from the original kung fu hero Kwan Tak Hin to the international break-through of the ‘Little Dragon’ Bruce Lee in the 1970s, the groundbreaking works of Sammo Hung in the 1980s and the continuing success of Jackie Chan and Jet Li. The surge of interest in martial arts cinema in Hollywood is examined, from the lows of exploitation ninja movies to box-office blockbusters including Matrix and Kill Bill, placing these films in their full context for the first time. |
